Description
DUTIES: Update existing software and develop new software solutions to address a specific need or solve a particular business problem. Contribute to all development activities in accordance with appropriate methodologies and application of a repeatable, systematic, and quantifiable approach to the development process. Work closely with more senior developers to ensure code alignment with design patterns/frameworks. Develop commercial software applications using sound, repeatable, industry standard methodologies. Write commercial software application solutions based on detailed requirements and system specifications. Design and lead development of 12 factor applications including designing and implementing frameworks and technologies for Continuous Integration and Build and Delivery. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study and 1 year of experience as a Software Application Developer or related role. One year of experience with: Azure Cloud Technologies and microservice approaches; Java test frameworks including Junit; Software development lifecycle, tools and multiple teams working methodologies including waterfall, scrum, and agile; Source control software including ADO, Git and SVN; Crafting self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components in back-end technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Cloud Containers; Networking and client-server communication including REST, web sockets, and server-sent events; Messaging technologies including Azure Event Service, Event Hub / Service Bus, Kafka, and other streaming applications and tools; Architecting and implementing scalable high availability solutions; and Building and releasing pipeline solutions.
