Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect. In this role, you will define the technical vision for new products and technology initiatives, evaluate emerging technologies, design modern architectural solutions, and help engineering teams transform ideas into scalable, production-ready products.

This role requires a combination of architectural expertise, strong hands-on engineering experience, and a technology-driven mindset. You will drive technology strategy, evaluate new approaches, lead Proof of Concept initiatives, and make key architectural decisions that shape the future of our products and platforms.
This is a remote role.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the architectural vision for new products, platforms, and technology initiatives.
  • Research emerging technologies, conduct technical evaluations, and drive Proof of Concept initiatives.
  • Design scalable cloud-native, distributed, and hybrid architectures.
  • Establish architectural standards, best practices, and engineering guidelines.
  • Lead the technical design of complex enterprise and high-load systems.
  • Define technology stacks and architectural principles for new solutions.
  • Contribute to innovative solutions leveraging modern technologies, including AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM, and intelligent automation.
  • Identify technical risks and define mitigation strategies.
  • Support engineering teams in solving complex technical challenges and making key architectural decisions.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and technical solution assessments.
  • Contribute to technical strategy, product roadmaps, and long-term product evolution.
  • Support technology transformation and product modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders on architecture and technology strategy topics.
  • Mentor technical leads and senior engineers.
  • Help shape engineering culture, development processes, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

Architecture Expertise

  • Significant experience in software development, architecture, and evolution of products, platforms, and enterprise solutions.
  • 4+ years in a Software Architect, Enterprise Architect, Engineering Director, or similar architectural role.
  • Strong understanding of modern architectural patterns, software design principles, and distributed systems.
  • Defining architectural vision and driving strategic technology decisions.
  • Evaluating technologies and architectural approaches based on business goals, scalability, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and long-term sustainability.

Technology Leadership Expertise

  • Leading distributed engineering teams and technical initiatives.
  • Driving architectural initiatives across products, platforms, or teams.
  • Collaborating with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
  • Defining architectural standards and engineering best practices.

Cloud & Platform Architecture Expertise

  • Designing cloud-native, distributed, and scalable systems.
  • AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
  • Architecting highly available, resilient, enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Kubernetes and container technologies.
  • Microservices, Distributed Systems, Event-Driven Architecture, and API-First Design.

Engineering Expertise

  • Strong hands-on software development background.
  • Experience with modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, automation, and DevOps.
  • Experience with modern programming languages, cloud technologies, and enterprise platforms.
  • End-to-end product and platform delivery

Technology Stack
Practical expertise across a combination of the following technology domains:

  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
  • Programming Languages: Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, Nodejs
  • Frontend Technologies: React, Angular, or similar modern frontend frameworks
  • Data & Messaging Technologies: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, NoSQL, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch
  • DevOps & Automation: GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code
  • Observability & Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry

Nice to Have

  • Practical experience with AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM, RAG, or intelligent automation.
  • Professional certifications in architecture, cloud platforms, or software engineering.
