Summary of Position

This role is responsible for developing and executing top-tier social media strategies across a diverse portfolio of Nexon tiles. They will lead efforts to boost brand awareness, drive user engagement, and foster organic growth through platforms like Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube. The individual will work closely with HQ and internal teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing goals. They will review performance across all social channels and KPIs, continuously optimizing social media plans.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in social media strategy within the gaming industry, hands-on experience in creating engaging content, and managing social media accounts. Proficiency in analyzing social media performance and making data-driven decisions is essential. This creative thinker must be a self-starter, have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and lives and breathes social media trends.

We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.

Job Responsibilities

• Portfolio Strategy & Calendar Management: Develop and execute distinct social media strategies for multiple Nexon IPs. Build, maintain, and fully own separate content calendars, ensuring a consistent and high-frequency posting cadence across all titles.
• Content Curation: Oversee the production of diverse assets (graphics, videos, copy) tailored to the specific voice and community of each individual game, maintaining distinct brand identities.
• Auditing & Optimization: Conduct regular audits of all managed accounts. Use performance data to pivot strategies for underperforming titles and scale success for high-growth IPs
• Reporting & Analytics: Track performance across all channels and KPIs. Generate portfolio-wide reports that provide insights into how different titles are performing relative to one another.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HQ and internal marketing teams to ensure social efforts align with global beats, seasonal updates, and product launches.

Work Experience

• 3-5 years in a social media strategy role or similar role
• Previous experience in the gaming industry is preferred
• Proven track record of leading successful social media campaigns

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Knowledge/Skills

• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging trends
• Hands on experience owning and organizing complex content calendars end-to-end
• Strong analytical skills and experience using social media analytics tools like Sprout Social or Hootsuite
• Creative mindset with the ability to craft engaging, on-brand content tailored to a niche gaming community
• Strong planning and project management skills
• Proficient in content creation tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite
• Hands-on experience with social media operations and content posting

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (annually)

The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $78,000 - $95,000 annually.

Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. An individual’s pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, however the salary range listed in this job posting reflects the base salary only.
