About the Brands

We are a growing fashion and lifestyle company seeking a creative, fashion-driven, and results-oriented Social Media Manager to lead the social media presence and growth of our brands:

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Social Media Manager who understands fashion, social media culture, content creation, brand storytelling, and performance-driven growth.

This is not a role focused solely on scheduling posts. The ideal candidate will take ownership of each brand's social media presence—from strategy and content planning to execution, community engagement, influencer coordination, paid social support, analytics, and growth.

You will work closely with our Design and E-Commerce teams while taking primary ownership of social media strategy and day-to-day execution across multiple fashion and lifestyle brands.

Job Description

  • Identify relevant fashion, lifestyle, cultural, and social media trends and translate them into brand-appropriate content.

Content Creation & Execution

  • Plan and manage content across Instagram, Reels, Stories, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.

  • Create engaging short-form content using available product, model, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes assets.

  • Coordinate with Design and E-Commerce teams regarding new products, collections, seasonal campaigns, and key product launches.

  • Write compelling, brand-appropriate captions and social media copy.

  • Coordinate product shoots and social content shoots as needed.

  • Maintain a consistent and effective posting schedule across all brands.

Community & Influencer Management

  • Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, tags, mentions, and other customer engagement.

  • Build relationships with followers and strengthen each brand's online community.

  • Identify and coordinate with influencers, creators, and micro-influencers.

  • Support product seeding, creator collaborations, and influencer marketing initiatives.

  • Track creator and influencer performance.

Growth & Paid Social

  • Develop strategies to increase qualified followers, engagement, website traffic, and conversions.

  • Collaborate with the E-Commerce team on Instagram and Facebook advertising, boosted posts, and social media campaigns.

  • Test creative concepts, audiences, formats, and messaging to improve campaign performance.

  • Identify high-performing organic content that may be expanded through paid promotion.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and analyze weekly and monthly social media KPIs, including:

    • Follower growth

    • Reach and impressions

    • Engagement rate

    • Reels and video views

    • Website traffic

    • Conversion and sales, when measurable

  • Prepare concise weekly social media performance reports.

  • Provide actionable recommendations based on performance data and trends.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on social media management experience, preferably within fashion, apparel, beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brands.

  • Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook/Meta, and emerging social media platforms.

  • Strong understanding of fashion trends, lifestyle content, social media culture, and young consumer behavior.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
