SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

REPORTS TO: SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for working closely with the Social Media and Marketing teams to provide administrative support for Boot Barn and exclusive brands. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, can work well against deadlines and can manage multiple projects at a time.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain PR closet and incoming samples
  • Create and maintain PR line sheet to be distributed to content creators
  • Communicate with the store field team, coordinating in-store visits and shipping needs
  • Support marketing and PR initiatives, assisting with influencer sourcing and communications
  • Packing and shipping PR orders, confirming receipt and monitoring content
  • Organize and maintain library of digital content
  • Help monitor social media performance metrics, including engagement, reach, impressions, follower growth, and conversions
  • Assist with on-site activations and events
  • Provide general administrative support to the Social Media and Marketing teams
  • Occasional graphic design projects for PR events and social graphics

Additional Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance
  • Travels up to 10% of scheduled shifts
  • Adheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations
  • Adheres to local, state and federal laws
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management
  • Understands and complies with all company rules and regulations
Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of work experience in social media
  • Highly proficient with all social media platforms, including Meta, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Pinterest. Snapchat experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of social media planning tools, Sprout social preferred.
  • Must be extremely well organized, work well under pressure and be a strong problem solver
  • Self-motivator with good initiative
  • Experience meeting multiple deadlines

PAY RANGE: $25.00 - $28.00/hr*

*compensation varies based on geography, skills, experience, and tenure
