About the role

As a Site Engineer at Thatch, you'll serve in a uniquely cross-functional capacity, ensuring that our public site is both beautiful and functional. You'll work closely with our design and engineering teams to maintain and improve our website at thatch.ai, creating both a beautiful representation of our brand and a functional tool for our users. Your role is critical in speaking to our user base, helping to build our brand and educate our customers.

We're looking for a strong engineer with a great eye for design. You should be great at multitasking, detail-oriented, and have experience building and maintaining websites. You'll likely have strong experience working with React, TypeScript, CSS, Tailwind, and other modern web technologies.

What you'll do
  • Maintain and improve our public site, ensuring that it is performant and accessible.
  • Work closely with our design team to implement new designs and features on our public site.
  • Identify areas of improvement and drive initiatives to enhance our public site.
  • Work with our marketing team to ensure that our public site is blazing fast, SEO-friendly, and accessible.
Background we're looking for
  • Experience building and maintaining websites using React, TypeScript, CSS, Tailwind, and other modern web technologies.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with design and marketing teams.
  • Excellent written communication and project management skills.
  • A proactive, optimistic, growth-minded approach, complemented by the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving workplace.

  • A background developing animations with libraries like Framer Motion.
