  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement that aligns with Cortica’s values and care model.
  • Build leadership strength at the site by mentoring emerging leaders and ensuring succession readiness.
  • Serve as the primary owner of site-level performance, aligning daily operations with Cortica’s clinical, financial, and growth objectives.
  • Lead execution of site strategic goals in partnership with the Area Director, with attention to quality of care, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Ensure seamless coordination and operational flow across disciplines, optimizing resource utilization and patient throughput.
  • Identify and open new roles based on patient demand and site capacity needs and actively participate in the interview and selection process.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to refine hiring strategies and develop site-level solutions when hiring challenges arise.
  • Manage the site’s Profit & Loss (P&L) performance by monitoring operational expenses, maintaining financial health, and executing strategies to drive revenue and contain cost efficiencies.
  • Use financial and productivity data to set targets, inform decisions, and hold teams accountable for performance.
  • Partner with finance and the area director on budget forecasting, invoice validation, and inventory oversight.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical leaders to ensure alignment with standards set by clinical excellence teams.
  • Actively engage in addressing complex client situations, service issues, or escalations in a thoughtful and empathetic manner.
  • Ensure the implementation and integration of the Cortica Care Model across all departments at the site.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance, facility safety, and operational readiness at all times.
  • Manage the administrative team to ensure the facility consistently meets Cortica’s standards for safety, branding, cleanliness, and clinical excellence.
  • Oversee resolution of patient questions and concerns, ensuring timely, professional, and compassionate communication that reflects Cortica’s service standards.
  • Promote a psychologically safe and physically secure environment for all teammates, patients, and visitors.
  • Serve as a local leader for new initiatives, pilots, or process changes originating from the area or corporate level.
  • Partner with Area Director and corporate teams on expansion planning, new teammate onboarding, or center readiness efforts.
  • Represent the site in area or company-wide operational leadership meetings as needed.
  • Maintain a daily on-site leadership presence and ensure leadership coverage during regular business hours.
  • Lead and participate in site events, trainings, team huddles, and community-building activities.
  • Travel occasionally for trainings, conferences, or area initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

We’d love to hear from you if:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree and/or certification in healthcare administration, a clinical domain, business management or related field.
  • You bring 5+ years of management experience in office settings, preferably in healthcare, leading cross-functional teams.
  • You bring 2+ years of P&L management experience.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
