Job Description

Enough about us, it's YOU we're excited about. ROX is looking for a driven, enthusiastic and passionate creator of THINGS. THINGS that arrest short attention spans and wandering interests. Attention-stopping THINGS that inspire people to attend and and share with their friends. As a Experiential Director at ROX United, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and producing compelling experiences that resonate. Leveraging your expertise in activation and social trends and best practices, you will work closely with our creative and strategy teams to deliver culturally relevant experiences that drive awareness and engagement onsite and in social channels. That's why it is critically important that you are a multidisciplinary experiential strategist and creator  who equally has a  hearty understanding of of social media.

Here, you'll be working with a kind-hearted motley crew of storytellers, creatives, and facilitators on a joint mission of creating award-winning work. We are a highly collaborative agency therefore this is an in-person full-time position based in our Huntington Beach, CA office.

Qualifications

  • At least 10+ years combined experience in Experiential on the agency/contractor/client side with measurable experience producing within budgets of $25k to $1MM+.
  • Expertise developing and executing experiences within the sports world. Youth is also highly valuable.
  • Collaborate with our stellar team of designers, strategists, and fabricators to bring your ideas to life
  • You keep your finger on the pulse of current trends and pop culture so your experiences are always ahead of the game
  • You are proficient at creating engaging share-able activations with all budget levels
  • You are comfortable owning the full process from strategy to creative ideation to fabrication and execution
  • You are a great collaborator and bring positive energy to the team around you.
  • You have modern style and aesthetic sensibilities
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong ability to organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Able to scale up and down as needed, working in a small but nimble team

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ideate, plan, and produce high-quality and culturally relevant activations, including but not limited to sports, entertainment both creating owned events/festivals and activating within existing events.
  • Write creative briefs to provide direction and collaborate with creators, influencers, fabricators and content creators as necessary to enhance the process.
  • Deep knowledge of cutting-edge venues, vendors and tastemakers.
  • Working on multiple productions at once, you go above and beyond each brief to push what's possible on both a creative and technical level.
  • Stay current with experiential and social media trends, and industry best practices to ensure activations remain relevant and optimized for maximum reach and engagement.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for campaigns and platform ideas.

Additional Information

* Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000 salary range
