Summary
The SharePoint Developer job position is for the employee with essential to intermediate knowledge, skills, and experience for implementing, configuring, and administering SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server (On-Premises).
Duties and Responsibilities
SharePoint Online / Server
- SharePoint administration
- Site collections and sites configurations
- Lists and document libraries configurations
- Permissions and security groups configurations
- Publishing sites configurations and management
- Site collection features configurations
- Site-level features configurations
- Variations setup and configurations
- Web parts configurations
- Content-type and site columns configurations
- Look and Feel configurations
- Search configuration
- Pages editing for publishing sites
- Navigation setup
- Metadata Hub setup
- Understand and work with requirements specifications.
- SharePoint troubleshooting
SharePoint Solutions Development
- Write client code to develop SharePoint Add-Ins and Hosted Applications using SharePoint Framework and libraries for SharePoint Online in Office 365 or SharePoint Server
- Understand and work with software requirements specifications.
Teamwork and Communication
- Work under Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Provide daily status and feedback on the work performed.
- Assist in analyzing, designing, developing, and deploying
SharePoint applications. - Provide accurate explanations of any written code.
- Communicate with internal and external personnel in English or Spanish to discuss requirements and specifications and provide status and explanation of the work performed.
Support
- Provide support to users.
- Provide support to system administrators and technical personnel.
Documentation
- Assist in preparing documentation like user manuals, requirements specifications documentation, and other needed documents.
- Report work hours with descriptions of the tasks performed and any daily issues.

- Keep updated with new technologies, versions changes, new approaches, and updates.
