As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the management, maintenance, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform to support the organization's business processes and IT service management strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, maintain system integrity, and ensure seamless integration across business units.
In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and troubleshooting the ServiceNow platform, ensuring that it aligns with business objectives and complies with industry standards. Your contributions will drive process efficiency, data accuracy, and enhanced user experiences across the organization.
- Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ITSM, ITOM, SPM, CSM, and possible other modules.
- Assist on onboarding new Air Force organizations for the ServiceNow Service Catalog (ITSM).
- Develop and configure ServiceNow catalog items, workflows, business rules, and UI policies.
- Create and manage user roles, access controls, and permissions.
- Implement ServiceNow integrations with third-party systems and other business applications.
- Monitor platform performance, identify issues, and apply necessary patches or upgrades.
- Provide technical support, training, and documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement new features and enhancements.
- Maintain data integrity by implementing data management policies and procedures.
- Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into platform usage and service delivery.

Qualifications
- Years of Experience: 3+
- Education Level: Bachelor’s (desired)
- Clearance Requirements: at least an active secret clearance (or higher)
- Certification Requirements: CSA, CAD, and Sec+
- Any other work-related qualifications needed for the role: see below.
- Qualifications:
- Required to have, at a minimum, an active DoD Secret clearance
- Required to have ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- Required to have ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- Required to have Comptia Security+ or higher certification.
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator with hands-on configuration and customization expertise.
- Extensive experience in workflow management and creation.
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL best practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, HTML, and AngularJS).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Preferred Qualifications (a plus):
- Any ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and Service Mapping.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
- Experience with cloud-based implementations.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Background in enterprise-level ServiceNow implementation projects.
