As the Web Strategy Lead at Abnormal.ai, you are the architect and visionary behind our most critical digital asset: our website. In a world where AI is being weaponized for cyber-attacks, our website is the digital front door to the AI-native solution that's protecting the enterprise. This role isn't just about managing a website; it's about creating a world-class digital experience that turns our cutting-edge brand into a powerful demand-generation engine. You will be the strategic owner of the abnormal.ai web experience, translating our ambitious business goals into a clear, data-driven roadmap that engages our highly technical audience, builds trust, and accelerates pipeline growth.
What you will do- Develop and execute a comprehensive web strategy that transforms abnormal.ai into a primary driver of demand generation, pipeline progression, and brand leadership.
- Vision & Strategic Roadmap:
- Define the long-term strategic roadmap for the website.
- Translate top-level business objectives like "Drive Full Pipeline Execution" and "Transform our Demand Gen. pipeline" into a prioritized web experience roadmap.
- User Experience (UX) & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
- Own the end-to-end user journey on the website, identifying points of friction and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and execute a CRO program with the goal of improving key conversion rates, addressing the slower GP-to-PoV progression identified in Q1.
- Build and manage a framework and strategy for testing and personalization through a digital experience platform such as Optimizely or Adobe Target.
- Content & SEO Strategy:
- Partner with Revenue Marketing, Product Marketing, Brand and other Content teams to develop a web content strategy that aligns with the buyer's journey, from awareness to decision.
- Define and oversee the on-page and technical SEO strategy to increase organic visibility and attract our ideal customer profile (ICP).
- Develop and manage a content governance model, including a process for regularly auditing, archiving, and decommissioning outdated pages and assets to prevent content sprawl and ensure a clean user experience.
- Performance Analysis & Insights:
- Analyze web data and user behavior to derive strategic insights, not just report on metrics. Answer "why" users are behaving a certain way and recommend actionable programs.
- Partner with Strategy and Analytics to define and operationalize Top-of-Funnel (TOFU) awareness and progression metrics, ensuring the insights drive strategic decisions.
- Stakeholder Alignment & Central Orchestrator:
- Serve as the primary web strategy partner for key stakeholders across Marketing (Demand Gen, PMM), Sales, and the broader GTM team.
- Collaborate on building a "Campaign in a Box" process to ensure consistent and effective web support for marketing campaigns.
- Act as the primary guardian of the website's brand integrity and user experience, establishing and enforcing Abnormal’s standards for UX/UI, messaging, and tone to ensure a cohesive and world-class digital presence.
- 8+ years of experience in web strategy, digital marketing, or a directly related UX/web optimization role.
- Proven experience in a B2B SaaS company is required; you must understand how to market and sell complex technical products to enterprise buyers.
- Demonstrated mastery of SEO and CRO: A track record of developing and executing strategies that measurably improve organic traffic and conversion rates (e.g., demo requests, content downloads, etc.).
- Expertise in web analytics and testing platforms: Deep, hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Amplitude, Optimizely, or similar platforms to derive insights and drive decisions.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills: Experience acting as a central point of contact, building consensus, and translating the needs of various teams (Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Sales) into a cohesive web strategy.
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (like HubSpot or Marketo) and their integration with Salesforce.
- Experience managing external agencies and vendors to execute on the web roadmap.
- Familiarity with content governance models and preventing content sprawl on a growing website.
- A strong understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to partner effectively with design and development teams.
