Compensation: $95K-$134K

Reporting to the Senior Director of Product, the Senior UI/UX Designer will play a key role in the UX designs across Pixelogic. This role will work closely with the Product team and be responsible for harmonizing the user experience across the pHelix ecosystem to maximize usability, clarity, and productivity.

 The Sr. Designer will foster an environment that is rooted in user empathy with the ability to bring both quantitative and qualitative data into all stages of the dev/design cycle. A portion of their focus will be on ensuring that positive and intuitive user experiences are accomplished throughout the ecosystem, as well as using metrics defined and gathered through user feedback to support and quantify these improvements.

 This role requires a strong background in user-centered design, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work closely with the Technology and Operations teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

·        Lead and inspire product design, user experience research, and usability testing across all software applications, fostering a culture of process and collaboration with the Product & Development Teams

·        Build and define a future design vision to present to development team, stakeholders, and leadership that addresses user and customer needs, follows product roadmaps, storyboarding, user journey and touch point mapping, and enables product success

·        Ensure regular engagement with primary stakeholders and superusers across all lines of business in the company to capture, document, and deliver UX scope and requirements, generating a clear and detailed roadmap for a unified design

·        Lead engagement and presentation of designs, collaborating closely with Technology team leads and Development teams on multiple projects to demonstrate how design deliverables effectively balance requirements, constraints, and user needs

·        Close engagement and collaboration with Product team to ensure best in class methodology, guidelines, and industry standards through UX design concepts, iterations, and approval of final deliverables. Ensure highest quality output, consistent vision, and deliverables through branded and in-house creative guidelines

·        Close engagement and collaboration with Technology and Development teams to efficiently meet product deadlines and milestones

·        Establish and maintain quality control and consistency of effective UX solutions and UI deliverables to development teams in an efficient and cost-effective manner

·        Support vision and represent the best interests of our customers as well as the company

·        Other duties as assigned

Requirements

·        5+ years of experience in digital product design experience with screen-based design, associated technologies, and enterprise level software preferably in a fast-paced environment

·        Bachelor's or master's degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·        Solid background/understanding of user experience, design thinking, UX methodologies, and understanding of an agile SDLC.

·        Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions and interaction design expertise

·        Extensive skills with Figma, Balsamiq, and other industry-standard tools

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        Proactive mindset that is solutions- and service-oriented

·        Ability to multi-task while also maintaining focus and attention to detail

·        Professional and levelheaded demeanor under all circumstances

·        Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines with changing and complex priorities

·        Demonstrated experience in media and technology sectors preferred
