General Medicine is a national, tech-enabled telemedicine medical group built by the team behind PillPack (acquired by Amazon Health). We're rethinking how primary and specialty care is delivered at scale.
About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter to support full-cycle hiring across our technical organization during a period of rapid growth. The focus is technical recruiting - engineering, product, and data - with a broader scope that also includes technical-adjacent roles like design and product marketing. This is a hands-on role with real ownership over requisitions, pipelines, and outcomes.
You'll partner closely with engineering and product leaders to source, engage, and close exceptional technical talent. This is the right role for someone high-agency and AI-native who builds pipelines proactively rather than waiting on inbound, and who thrives in a fast-moving, low-structure startup environment.
What the Work Looks Like
Own full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer, primarily for technical roles (engineering, product, data and analytics) and technical-adjacent roles (design, product marketing)
Partner with hiring managers to define candidate profiles, align on priorities, and set timelines
Build and run AI-enabled sourcing strategies to engage high volumes of qualified technical candidates
Manage pipelines in Ashby with accurate tracking, timely follow-up, and clear communication
Conduct screens to assess technical fit and motivation, and coordinate structured interview loops
Maintain a high bar for candidate experience through transparency and follow-through
Track recruiting metrics (pipeline health, time to fill, sourcing effectiveness) and improve process as volume grows
Qualifications
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years recruiting technical talent (engineering, product, or data)
Strong proactive sourcing skills; comfort building pipelines rather than relying on inbound
AI-native recruiter - hands-on experience with Juicebox.ai and a modern recruiting CRM is required
Experience recruiting in a startup or high-growth environment
Experience recruiting in the Bay Area and/or Boston strongly preferred
Ability to manage multiple open roles while staying organized and responsive
High self-discipline and accountability; effective in a low-structure, ambiguous environment
Clear, professional communication with candidates and internal stakeholders
Why General Medicine
Shape how we hire the technical team during a defining growth phase
Real ownership over roles and outcomes, not just coordination
Help build recruiting foundations that support long-term, sustainable scaling
