Job Summary:

The Senior Technical Project Manager, Oracle Fusion is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of technical workstreams supporting complex Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations and transformation initiatives. This role partners across IT, business functions, system integrators, and other stakeholders to drive successful delivery of integrations, data migration, testing, environments, security, technical architecture, cutover, and deployment activities. The position ensures technical deliverables are executed in alignment with business requirements, project timelines, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of technical workstreams for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations, including integrations, data migration, reporting, environments, security, testing, and deployment.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and delivery schedules while proactively identifying and addressing risks and issues.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities across internal IT teams, business stakeholders, system integrators, Oracle resources, and other external partners to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and change controls for assigned technical workstreams.
  • Lead technical testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT), end-to-end testing, performance testing, security testing, and support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring defects are effectively tracked and resolved.
  • Coordinate Oracle Fusion environment management, release schedules, environment refreshes, code migrations, deployment activities, and production readiness.
  • Develop and execute detailed technical cutover and go-live plans, including readiness assessments, contingency planning, command center coordination, and issue escalation.
  • Lead technical stabilization and hypercare activities following deployment, ensuring timely issue resolution and effective transition to ongoing operational and support teams.
  • Facilitate technical governance, design reviews, project status meetings, and executive updates, providing clear visibility into progress, risks, decisions, and required actions.
  • Apply strong project management practices, including RAID management, resource and budget planning, vendor management, dependency tracking, change management, and executive stakeholder communication.

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience: 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience managing complex enterprise technology, ERP, or business transformation initiatives, including technical workstreams. 

  • Experience delivering at least two full-cycle Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations. 

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations, including integrations, data migration, testing, environments, security, cutover, and deployment. 

  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams, system integrators, vendors, and business stakeholders. 

  • Strong project management experience across scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and governance. 

  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience delivering Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations within a global, regulated, or medical device environment. 

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation or multi-year ERP programs. 

  • PMP certification strongly preferred. 

  • Oracle Cloud, PMI-ACP, Prosci, ITIL, or other relevant certifications preferred. 

  • Experience working across geographically dispersed teams and global business functions.

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

Physical requirements/Work Environment 

This position primarily works in an office environment and requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Daily use of a computer and other digital devices is required. This role may require standing for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking through facilities.
