The Senior Tanium Engineer will design, configure, deploy, and optimize Tanium, providing customer advisement and managing complex IT issues in a distributed environment.

As the Sr. Tanium Engineer, you will possess solid industry experience, with proven experience designing, configuring, deploying, operationalizing, administering, and optimizing Tanium in a distributed and complex enterprise. Experience in one or more of the following technical domains: Endpoint Security, Endpoint Support, Troubleshooting, Incident Response, Systems Management, Utility Scripting (bash, PowerShell, VBScript, Python.Ability to solve complex technical issues independently or within a team environment. Qualified candidates will provide services for various customers in public and private spaces, performing architect, administration, and engineering engagements on the Tanium platform. The Tanium Engineer will also be involved in customer advisement regarding Tanium best practices and how to get added value out of their Tanium deployments.
Qualification Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required as most work will be for U.S. Government clients.
- Must hold active Yankee Clearance
- Minimum 7 years of IT experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of Tanium Experience
- Tanium certifications preferred
- Hands-on experience deploying Tanium in enterprise environments
- Understanding of engineering life cycle management
- Knowledge and experience in utility scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, VBScript)
- Hands-on experience with system automation and integration
- Operational experience in software deployment and vulnerability management tools

- Tanium TCO and/or TCA Certification
- Yankee Clearance
- Exposure and/or experience with any of the following tools: Splunk, Crowdstrike, ZScaler, CRIBL, Tenable, Rapid 7, Microsoft Defender ATP (or MDE), InTune, SCCM.
