Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to work for our company.

Summary: 

  • Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency.
  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
  • Sustains and maintains DAI Cloud Infrastructure, including support for EPM (SaaS) cloud solution.
  • Implements, configures, and manages Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solution on cloud infrastructure.
  • Maintains DISA SCCA/CAP connection.
  • Maintains Test, Dev, COOP, and Production environments (backups, patching, upgrades).
  • Performs system administration duties/functions on OS, Database, DAI application, and custom code for Test, Dev, COOP, and Production environments.
  • Implements and runs Information Assurance policies, STIGS, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans per DoDI 8500.1.
  • Ensures employees with access to Government data pass appropriate background investigation (NACI) and be US persons as defined in Executive Order 12333.
  • Informs Government of any interruption in cloud service availability as required by SLA.
  • Provides regular updates on service recovery status according to agreed SLAs and system availability requirements.
  • Maintains compatibility and interoperability with Government’s systems, infrastructure, and processes.
  • Provides all required reports, including self-assessments per FedRAMP Continuous Monitoring Strategy Guide.
  • Adopts and maintains safeguards and controls to protect and remedy data breaches.
  • Submits reports of cyber incidents through approved mechanisms as specified in CJCSM 6510.01B.
  • Applies CJCSM 6510.01B template format for reporting initial incidents.
  • Reports breaches of PII within 60 minutes of discovery.
  • Retains operational configuration and control of data repository systems used to process and store Government data.
  • Maintains all data within the United States.
  • Notifies Government within 60 minutes of any warrants, seizures, or subpoenas received.

Requirements: 

  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in information systems administration.
  • 6+ years of experience with system infrastructure support, patching, and configuration.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software and server environments.
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure maintenance and VDI solutions.
  • Knowledge of DISA SCCA/CAP connection maintenance.
  • System administration skills for OS, Database, and applications.
  • Implementation of Information Assurance policies and STIGS.
  • Background in FedRAMP compliance and cyber incident reporting.
  • Ability to maintain compatibility and interoperability with Government systems.

Preferences: 

  • One of the following certifications: IAT-II security certification: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, CISSA, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP
  • Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server administration and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
  • DFARS 252.239-7001 Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification.
  • One of the following certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Foundations 2020 Certified Associate, Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), Oracle WebLogic Server 12c Administrator, Oracle Java SE 8 Programmer I, Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Essentials (OEM 12c), Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) 12c R1: Fundamentals, Oracle Planning 202x Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), and Oracle Identity Governance 12c: Essentials.
