Job Title : Sr. System Test Automation Engineer 

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility To Convert Fulltime)

Job Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in Systems Test. In this position, the Systems Test Engineer will be responsible for testing, monitoring and sustaining software solutions.

This role would be a part of the Operations Engineering team and is responsible for assuring the next generation of products can be delivered in a way that will continue to delight customers.

Responsibilities:

·         Design test plans and define test strategies

·         Build, enhance and maintain test automation system

·         Enhance and maintain build and release system

·         Modify and execute tests for validation of hardware and software features

·         Work with Electrical and Mechanical engineers to root cause and resolve hardware and fixture issues

·         Provide test reports to engineering, operations, and management

Key Skills / Experience:

·         BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

·         Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies & practices

·         Ability to triage problems, prioritize and report clearly

·         Strong ability to create reports on progress & track issues

·         Proficient with Bash, Python, or similar scripting language is required

·         Understanding of networking and operating system concepts is required

·         Understanding of C/C++/Objective C code is a plus

·         Passion for hardware debugging and identifying root cause

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·         Collaborate closely with Operations, Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering and other teams to achieve team goals
