The 1000heads Strategy team is a group of curious, inquisitive advertising obsessives with a shared passion for understanding how things work, and we’re looking for our next Senior Strategist. 

Role

Finding out what is happening in the world and merging it with what is happening with our clients to inform campaigns, creative briefs, research projects, partnership audits, influencer collaborations, and more. 

Working in partnership with Accounts, Creative, Insights, Relationships, and our other departments, you will be creating the cohesion that ensures our work achieves clients’ objectives, connecting the dots between what clients are asking for and what audiences actually want.

As a Senior Strategist you should have a great grasp on how to execute multi-channel campaigns with a focus on social, digital, influencer / advocacy and partnerships, providing the structure, research, and analysis that brings everything together.

Responsibilities
  • Asking smart questions and finding evidence-based answers
  • Researching and gathering data to develop well-informed strategic plans 
  • Developing a total understanding of online target audience and mindsets
  • Examining clients’ businesses to get to know their brands and understand their objectives
  • Producing cohesive and intelligent plans to bring success to campaigns and evergreen strategies
  • Generating original ideas with other members of the team
  • Leading social and content strategy briefs
  • Presenting findings to senior staff members and clients
  • Identifying potential problems and devising ways to rectify them
  • Liaising with senior members of staff to receive feedback and create improvements to strategies
  • Proactively keeps abreast of clients' marketing and media 

Requirements

This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in office required. You must reside in (or within commuting distance of) one of our US office locations: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Miami.

  • Curiosity and a desire to learn why things are the way they are
  • Minimum 4 years working in social media or digital marketing strategy
  • A proven track record of developing strategic plans that benefit clients
  • A good knowledge of the digital and social media space
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to make complex subjects understandable
  • The flexibility to work over a number of projects and balance your workload
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels demonstrating tact, diplomacy, discretion and maturity
Salary

$92,000 - $115,000 per annum
