Summary of Position:

The Senior Strategist role sits within the Strategy & Communications Group – supporting strategic marketing initiatives for both new and existing client-projects. They will ensure programs and campaigns are insight-driven, ownable to the brand, resonate in culture, and are executed at the highest level. 

This person must have the ability to develop integrated experiential campaigns that cut into culture and consumers lives. From initial insight to final programs, this person must be able to craft a strategy into a persuasive story that inspires creative teams and excites our clients.

This position will join an ambitious team of multidisciplinary strategists and experts. This position will have the opportunity to develop strategic initiatives by working cross-functionally to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and advise senior clients on a regular basis.

This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role that will require a confident marketer, leader, writer, and speaker with a passion for brands and a deep fascination with culture and the role brands play within it.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and present thoughtful and provocative strategies, creative briefs, brand ideas, and experience plans
  • Support key strategic projects to fulfill client deliverables and execute exceptional programs
  • Support the SVP Strategy and SCG team in day-to-day strategic marketing output
  • Responsible for developing decks and documents, and communicating our strategic positioning to key clients 
  • Collaborate cross departmentally to develop breakthrough ideas/strategies for new business proposals and existing accounts
  • Participate in RFP brainstorms, offering brand solutions against client requests as needed
  • Connect the full range of NVE’s capabilities, from brand experience, content, inclusive marketing, communications, creative strategy, content, Cognition (interactive) to The Future Party for our brand partners.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of category and competitive activity
  • Mentor and develop strategic talent internally and externally

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing and brand solutions
  • Experience includes brand management or strategy, advertising, content strategy, media, events, digital marketing, and/or PR
  • Creative problem-solving, and a doer/builder of beautiful, insightful strategic positions and programs
  • Experience in the tech, auto, or CPG categories preferred
  • Experience in multichannel comms planning preferred
  • Ability to think creatively with evidence of success in developing brands and delivering them to market.
  • Strong communication skills, an imaginative writer, and enthusiastic presenter.

Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time

Location: We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York. We will consider remote candidates for this role.

Salary Estimation: [$90,000.00 - $120,000.00]

NVE intends to provide a competitive total compensation package which includes a variety of incentives, benefits, growth and developmental opportunities.There are many factors to the presented salary range, including but not limited to - location, departmental budgets, certifications, and overall job-related qualifications.
