What You’ll Do

Are you ready to make an impact at one of the most exciting companies at the forefront of the Creator Economy? As a Strategic Finance Associate, you’ll be at the heart of a collaborative, high-performing finance and accounting team that’s cross-trained and tightly integrated with every corner of our business. This is not your typical back-office finance role - it’s a chance to be a true business partner and strategic driver.

In this role, you’ll build strong relationships across teams, deliver compelling financial insights, and provide accurate, timely reporting that helps shape critical decisions. Your work will directly influence how leaders and teams plan, prioritize, and grow and your voice will matter.

As a key member of the Finance team, you’ll own financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and operational support for core business initiatives. You’ll play a vital role in performance management, project ownership, and data storytelling, helping teams uncover insights and drive smarter decisions. You’ll also develop financial models to unpack KPIs and business drivers and bring clarity to complexity.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that puts you at the intersection of finance and strategy, with the opportunity to grow, lead, and help define Spotter’s future.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and update sophisticated in-depth financial models from scratch to enable business planning and decision-making supporting company-wide forecasting by developing a detailed understanding of our business models and evaluating the key performance drivers
  • Support the preparation of department, portfolio, and consolidated corporate financial reporting with variance analysis (actuals vs. budget and forecast) and explanations that provide business insights on financial performance to internal and external customers and management
  • Prepare board-level documents, business review presentations, and annual budget presentations for internal and external publication
  • Help create and ensure timely delivery of monthly reporting packages to investors
  • Work cross-functionally across departments including Analytics, Partnerships, and Ad Sales on multiple projects supporting investor reporting, portfolio performance analyses, and other assignments as requested

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative and analytical field such as Finance, Accounting or Economics with 3-5 years of investment banking or management consulting experience and/or finance experience at a high-growth startup or Fortune 500 tech company
  • Significant financial modeling experience and exposure to financial statements reporting, variance analysis, data analysis, forecasting and budgeting
  • Self-motivated team player with strong ability to interact with others
  • Learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and adaptability in assuming new responsibilities and passionate for solving new problems
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and high level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and able to handle a high work volume
  • Experience with financial and ERP systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, PowerBI an added plus
  • Foundational knowledge of and genuine excitement for the YouTube Content Creator industry

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Culver City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $150K-$180K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual discretionary bonus and equity.
