Job Description

The Senior Staff Specialist Regional Marketing is responsible for the go-to-market strategy, execution and growth (the "how") within a specific territory, lifecycle management, and commercial success of MCU/MPU/Connectivity portfolio. Translate complex technical specifications (like DMIPS, Flash memory, Wireless performance and peripheral sets, application requirements) into value propositions that resonate with customers.

Kind of "General Manager" of that region. adapting the global strategy and pivot it to fit local market dynamics, ensuring that the EP & C portfolio meets revenue and design-win targets in the specific geography through a deep customer-centric approach. Collaborate with Sales and other stakeholders to identify high-value "white space" and partner with Distribution and Design Houses to build a robust support ecosystem. Ultimately, acting as the "Voice of the Region" ensuring that local requirements and competitive shifts directly influence the future products’ roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Job functions would include (but not limited to):

Demand Creation & Design-Wins

  • Targeting: Identify the high potential customer
  • Promotion: Execute regional seminars, tech days, partner scouting, enablement and trade shows.
  • Funnel Management: Track the "Design-In" to "Design-Win" pipeline to ensure future revenue is secure.
  • Opportunity: Uncover opportunity and support to close and win
  • Distribution Management: Work with distributor to support Key account and “long tail” customers.
  • Customers: Establish deep relationships with key customers and align on product roadmap and D-in/win support
  • Price Positioning: Adjust local pricing to stay competitive against local players or customer share, in synch with company ambition.

  • Account Profile: Working with sales (Customer Roadmap, Competition landscape, SKU map, SAM, key target opportunities/sockets, SWOT, customer org)
  • Engagement strategy and customer relationship

Go-To-Market (GTM)

  • Collateral customization: Adapt high-impact pitch decks, product positioning, articles.
  • Sales Enablement: In collaboration with FAE/AE Train sales teams and Partners on new products, fighting guide and tech trend to leverage.
  • Ecosystem Development/nurturing: Ensure the MCU/MPU/CONNECTIVITY has the right "extras" by training the partners, “preparing” evaluation boards, IDE support, and software libraries.
  • Local 3rd party: Strong local engagement and partner identification.

Strategy & Roadmap

  • Market Analysis through Customer lens: Identify emerging trends in IoT, Industrial Automation, Consumer Electronics,...
  • Competitive Intelligence: Keep tabs on competitors to ensure pricing and performance remain superior.

Voice of the Region (VOR)

  • Feedback Loop: Collect specific regional requirements. It’s your job to convince the global team to put it on the roadmap.
  • Competitor Scouting: Monitor what competitors are doing locally

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical fields. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor, embedded systems, or related industries.
  • 5+ years in product marketing or product line management.
  • Experience in P&L management, Strategic Marketing, Technical Marketing, Business development, Applications, Supply chain management, Cost management, or related roles.
  • Understanding of microcontroller or microprocessor or connectivity applications in consumer, industrial, automotive and data center or communications infrastructure applications and systems.
  • Understanding of:
    • Microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex, RISC-V, etc)
    • Connectivity Technology (WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC)
    • Embedded software ecosystems
    • Semiconductor cost structures, wafer economics, and supply chain dynamics

Additional Information

Pay Transparency (approved text)

The expected annual pay range for this position is $180,000 - $210,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
