We are seeking a high self-motivated Manufacturing Engineer to focus on defining and optimizing manufacturing processes and advancing equipment development by providing manufacturing insights during product definition for our cutting edge super robot. You will work closely with design, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure manufacturing process and equipment are well defined and products with best-in-class quality, cost, and delivery performance for advanced robotic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Bridge the gap: between initial concept and full production by providing design teams with critical insights on manufacturability, assembly, testing, and tooling.
  • Lead the in-house development: of innovative and complex prototype manufacturing equipment.
  • Design assembly sequences: and establish critical quality parameters to ensure production efficiency.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder: in scaling manufacturing lines from concept to high-volume production.
  • Leverage virtualization technologies: to accelerate development cycles and mitigate technical risks.
  • Diagnose and resolve: complex multi-disciplinary issues across mechanical, electrical, software, and control systems.
  • Provide hands-on technical support: and collaborate with external integrators and suppliers as required.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree/PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of direct work experience in hardware DFM manufacturing within fast-paced environments; background in prototype and production line design, robotics, or automotive strongly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in mechanical assembly, electrical integration, sealing, torque tools, testing and trouble shooting, automation equipment, control systems, and quality control strategy, .
  • Strong analytical skills and engineering fundamentals in manufacturing
  • Experience with 3D and 2D CAD, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
