The OpportunitySonatus is a leader in providing technologies and software to global OEMs to build software-defined vehicles. We are looking for a highly motivated AI Engineer to join our fast-growing team. As a part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and products, from conception to deployment.
Role and Responsibilities- Product Development: Develop and deliver highly scalable, secure, and efficient AI products, ensuring they meet rigorous performance and quality standards.
- Product Evaluation: Set the AI product evaluation methodology. Closely collaborate with the QA team in evaluating the quality of the AI products.
- Innovation and Research: Conduct research and experimental development to enhance AI capabilities and optimize system performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with product and go-to-market teams to understand client requirements and develop customized, impactful solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Clearly articulate complex AI concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders, promoting understanding and alignment.
- Documentation: Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation for AI products, including functional specifications, software architecture specifications, and user guides.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Master or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Deep understanding of Large Language Models(LLMs) and/or Small Language Models(SLMs)
- Deep understanding of prompting techniques and prompting optimization
- Deep understanding of Agentic Framework
- Fluent in data preprocessing
- Solid understanding of AI product lifecycles
- Solid understanding on different ML algorithms
- Understanding of AI production evaluation process
- Experience with RAG, knowledge graph, and information retrieval
- Experience with the prominent GenAI models
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML model integration is highly desirable.
- Experience with pytorch, numpy and pandas
- Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, messaging frameworks, and database
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code tools
