We are seeking a Senior
Specialist, Laboratory IT & Systems Support to support laboratory
computing environments, scientific instruments, laboratory software, and IT
infrastructure within a regulated biotech/pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage
laboratory computers, instrument-connected workstations, deployments,
upgrades, and retirement.
- Support laboratory instrument software, vendor applications, and connectivity.
- Troubleshoot
hardware, software, network, and laboratory technology issues.
- Coordinate
network connections, security patching, and compliance activities.
- Maintain CMDB records and laboratory technology inventories.
- Partner
with IT, LIS, Digital & Data, Facilities, Quality, and instrument
vendors.
- Support
laboratory expansions, relocations, renovations, and startup activities.
- Develop
technical documentation, support procedures, and operational standards.
- Lead
or support laboratory IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's
degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+
years of experience supporting laboratory IT, laboratory systems, or
scientific instrumentation.
- Experience
in pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, or regulated laboratory
environments.
- Experience
working with instrument vendors and enterprise IT teams.
- Strong
troubleshooting, communication, customer service, and stakeholder
management skills.
