We’re looking for a Senior Specialist, Global Sales Onboarding to join Snap Inc. on a 7-month fixed term basis supporting our Sales Learning & Development team within the People organization.

This role will serve as a key program lead for ASCEND, Snap’s global in-person Sales Onboarding experience, coordinating the people, content, operations, and cross-functional partners required to deliver a high-quality and consistent experience for new sellers around the world.

You’ll own the day-to-day orchestration of a complex global program—from cohort planning and stakeholder coordination to facilitator readiness, participant experience, delivery, and measurement. You’ll work across Sales, Product, Sales Operations, Marketing, People, and other teams to ensure new hires build the knowledge, connections, and practical capabilities they need to ramp successfully at Snap.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong Learning & Development experience with exceptional program management: someone who can see around corners, bring structure to complexity, hold multiple partners accountable, and ensure both the big picture and the smallest execution details come together.

What You'll Do:

Global Sales Onboarding & ASCEND Program Management

  • Own the end-to-end coordination and execution of ASCEND, Snap’s global in-person Sales Onboarding experience, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience across global hubs and cohorts.
  • Build and manage the integrated program plan across curriculum, facilitators, speakers, participants, communications, logistics, technology, and learning materials.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination across Sales L&D and a broad group of cross-functional partners, driving clear ownership, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Partner with subject matter experts across Sales, Product, Sales Operations, Marketing, and other functions to translate business priorities and expertise into relevant learning experiences.
  • Manage speaker and facilitator readiness, including content deadlines, session preparation, rehearsals, materials, and day-of execution.
  • Coordinate closely with event, workplace, travel, and regional partners to deliver seamless in-person experiences across global locations.
  • Maintain the ASCEND program calendar and operating rhythm, ensuring upcoming cohorts are planned and prepared well in advance.
  • Anticipate risks and dependencies, resolve issues quickly, and keep multiple workstreams moving without requiring significant day-to-day oversight.

Learning Experience & Delivery

  • Facilitate and support components of global new hire onboarding, with a focus on Snap’s advertising business, products, tools, customers, and ways of working.
  • Create and continuously improve engaging learning experiences that make complex sales and technical information practical and actionable for new hires.
  • Ensure the in-person ASCEND experience builds effectively upon required pre-work and virtual onboarding, creating a cohesive end-to-end new hire journey.
  • Develop and maintain facilitator guides, participant resources, job aids, communications, and other materials that enable consistent global delivery.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to ensure content remains current, relevant, and connected to the realities sellers encounter in market.
  • Support Snap’s global leadership in developing scalable learning experiences for their teams and the sales orgs tied back to the business priorities and skills needed.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Own the measurement approach for ASCEND, including participant readiness, engagement, learning outcomes, program effectiveness, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data across cohorts to identify trends and recommend improvements to curriculum, delivery, and participant experience.
  • Establish a repeatable feedback loop with Sales leaders, managers, facilitators, and participants to continuously evolve the program.
  • Maintain program dashboards and provide clear updates on outcomes, risks, upcoming cohorts, and areas requiring leadership attention.
  • Translate program insights into practical changes that improve new-hire readiness and accelerate seller effectiveness.

Program Operations & Scale

  • Build and maintain the processes, documentation, templates, timelines, and playbooks required to make ASCEND repeatable and scalable globally.
  • Manage multiple cohorts, stakeholders, and workstreams simultaneously while balancing immediate execution needs with longer-term program improvements.
  • Drive accountability across cross-functional contributors, proactively following up and removing barriers to ensure commitments are delivered on time.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or improve program operations while maintaining a high-quality participant experience.
  • Ensure program knowledge, decisions, materials, and operating processes are well documented to support continuity across the Sales L&D team.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Exceptional program and project management skills, with demonstrated experience coordinating complex programs involving multiple stakeholders, workstreams, deadlines, and dependencies.
  • Strong operational instincts and attention to detail, with the ability to move fluidly between the overall program strategy and the details required to deliver it successfully.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and results across cross-functional partners without direct authority.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leaders, subject matter experts, facilitators, and global partners.
  • Ability to anticipate issues, identify dependencies, make sound decisions, and independently solve problems in fast-moving environments.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to create engaging experiences for global audiences.
  • Ability to quickly absorb unfamiliar or technical information and translate it into clear, accessible learning experiences and resources.
  • Excellent written communication, content-editing, and organizational skills.
  • Experience using data, participant feedback, and business outcomes to evaluate and continuously improve programs.
  • Understanding of sales organizations and an ability to connect learning experiences to seller effectiveness and business outcomes.
  • Comfortable operating in a global organization and adapting programs for different regions, audiences, and business needs.
  • Instinct to initiate, follow through, and drive work to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and managing inbound requests.
  • Can build report and internal relationships quickly and effectively in multiple regions around the globe.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Sales Enablement, Program Management, Sales Operations, Sales, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience owning or managing complex, high-visibility programs from planning through execution and measurement.
  • Experience working in highly cross-functional environments and coordinating stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Experience developing and/or delivering learning experiences in a professional environment.
  • Strong project management experience with the ability to reprioritize quickly and deliver against firm deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting sales onboarding, sales enablement, or other learning programs for revenue-generating organizations.
  • Experience managing global, cohort-based, and/or in-person learning programs.
  • Experience working within digital advertising, media, technology, or another fast-moving commercial environment.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms and the sales processes associated with complex advertising solutions.
  • Experience administering LMS, sales enablement, or other L&D platforms used to deploy, manage, and measure learning at scale.
  • Experience building measurement approaches that assess knowledge, skills, behaviors, participant experience, and program impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to identify opportunities and make practical, scalable recommendations.
  • Experience working as part of a regional or global function within a highly matrixed organization.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
