We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Client Processing to join our team. This role is located in Los Angeles, CA.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Provide complex analytics, reporting, and operational support for Non-Purpose Lending accounts and transactions, identifying opportunities to improve and automate processes.
  • Manage moderate to complex client and advisor inquiries related to Lending products and services.
  • Partner with internal teams to support timely processing and issue resolution.
  • Monitor requests and exceptions to ensure documentation, approvals, and account requirements are completed accurately and within established service levels.
  • Participate in process improvements, product enhancements, and system testing that support accurate and efficient processing of Lending transactions.
  • Research and resolve complex issues using a strong understanding of Lending products, systems, and procedures.
  • Apply industry knowledge, sound judgment, and risk awareness to deliver effective solutions for internal and external clients.
  • Allocate work, review completed requests and provide guidance to team members as needed.
  • May perform designated supervisory reviews, training, and approval activities, as assigned.
  • Contribute to team objectives by supporting a consistent, controlled, and client-focused lending experience.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5-7 years of client-facing, lending, brokerage, or financial-services operations experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Non-Purpose Lending, securities-backed lending, pledged accounts, collateral management, or brokerage processing is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with close attention to detail and risk controls.

    BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The expected base salary for this position when employment commences can be found in the Job Info section at the bottom of the posting. 

    Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents.
