Lead planning and execution of mid-sized avionics projects, coordinating engineering, operations, and quality. Own risk assessments, schedules, resource allocation, supplier relationships, budgets, and deliverable tracking. Facilitate design reviews, resolve technical challenges, document project decisions, optimize PM tools, and drive cross-functional process improvements to deliver complex technical initiatives.
Plans and executes avionics projects developed internally or with suppliers. Collaborates with cross-functional teams from engineering, operations, and quality to define project plans, track milestones, and manage risks.
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning for mid-sized projects; oversee execution and resolve moderate issues

- Develop comprehensive project documentation; proactively adjust schedules as needed

- Optimize project management tool usage for team efficiency; train others on advanced features
- Lead resource planning for medium projects; resolve allocation conflicts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of electronic systems: boards, mechanical parts, cables, software
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Team-oriented work style
- 6-10 years experience in technical project management or related field
- Leads complex, multi-team projects independently
- Develops and executes strategic project initiatives
- Manages critical supplier/vendor relationships
- Drives cross-functional process improvements
- Leads risk management and mitigation strategies
- Influences department-level decisions and strategies
- Advanced experience with project management methodologies
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects

Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000 per year however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
