Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team focused on building and maintaining backend systems that power next-generation software. This is a backend-heavy role with some frontend exposure, ideal for developers who enjoy working on scalable, secure, and mission-critical applications.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure the platform is reliable, performant, and maintainable.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Design and implement backend services using Python and Django
  • Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure, including compute, storage, and networking
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for provisioning and deployment
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers on occasional React features
  • Participate in code reviews, TDD, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines
  • Troubleshoot, monitor, and improve system performance, reliability, and security
  • Document best practices and maintain high code quality standards
 Some Must-Haves:
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong backend development skills with Python/Django
  • Experience with Azure cloud platform and related services
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React) a plus
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English and collaborate remotely

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
