What You’ll DoIn this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our core PHP application. You'll work closely with our product and design teams to implement new features and improve existing ones. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our codebase and ensuring its scalability and efficiency.
What You’ve Done Before- An expert in PHP and web development.
- 6+ years of experience in PHP development with MVC, in a SaaS environment.
- Expert understanding of core programming principles and practices that are used to help structure maintainable and extensible codebases.
- Creating APIs that are built to scale and support platform functionality.
- Experience in leading complex projects and mentoring junior developers.
- Expert with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
- Significant experience with relational databases and writing optimized SQL queries.
- Experience building and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Extensive testing experience, both unit and functional.
- Experience with Yii or similar frameworks.
- Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the PHP community.
- Experience leveraging AI coding assistant tools to enhance productivity and testing.
