About your team
The Technology function provides IT services to the Fidelity International business, globally. These include the development and support of business applications that underpin our revenue, operational, investment, compliance, finance, legal, marketing and customer service functions. The broader organisation incorporates Infrastructure services that the firm relies on to operate on a day-to-day basis including data centre, networks, proximity services, security, voice, incident management and remediation. The Central team comprises systems development and support specialists that provide support to departments such as HR Services, Finance, Corporate Services, Legal and Compliance, Risk and Technology across various geographic locations. The services include Production Support of in-house developed application and vendor provided products, small scale enhancements and product.
About your role
As Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining integrations for Corporate Property Services (CPS) domain. You will collaborate with a team of engineers in a highly agile environment, focussed on continuous improvement of the framework and infrastructure and will be responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of high-quality architecture, including integrations, their supporting infrastructure and pipelines, following best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage CPS integrations.
- Adhere to Coding best practices and Agile Processes for seamless deployments.
- Develop automation tools and processes to enhance productivity and efficiency in model deployment and maintenance.
- Learn and implement DevOps framework and operations.
- Engage in conducting regular reviews and audits ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support RTB team for business to have smooth integration experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Programming: Python and Node.js with TypeScript.
- Strong grasp of asynchronous programming, error handling, and API best practices.
- Unit/integration testing frameworks (pytest, Jest/Mocha); mocking and test coverage.
- Databases & PL/SQL: Strong SQL fundamentals (joins, indexes, query optimization), understanding of packages, triggers, stored procedures.
- Git (branching, PRs); familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).
- Software Fundamentals: HTTP, REST/GraphQL, JSON, OAuth2/JWT, container basics (Docker).
- Control-M for job scheduling and batch processing.
- Basic observability (logging, metrics) and secure coding practices.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
Desirable Attributes:
- Cloud: AWS fundamentals.
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code basics.
- Experience building data/integration pipelines (SnapLogic or similar integration tools).
