The Dalian office initially served as a systems development centre to bolster Fidelity’s growing business in the Asia Pacific region, with a primary focus on providing technology and web-based support and services. The office has continued to expand in recent years and now acts as the central service hub for the Asia Pacific region supporting multiple business functions including systems development and support, systems infrastructure support, retail operations, finance accounting services and investment administration & fund accounting.

   

• Team Description

   

  Our team provides comprehensive technical support and solutions for the Hong Kong Customer Service Department, covering all Hong Kong business operations. We focus on delivering stable, efficient, and customer‑centric services to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer experience across the entire Hong Kong market.

   

   

• About your role
  As a sinior software engineer I, you will work hand in hand with counterparts in HK, UK and Dalian to support globally shared workflows, interacting with local business and technology teams to ensure these reflect any specific regional business or technology needs.

   

   

   

• About you
  The position is for an experienced data engineer The candidate should be an expert in Data processing Tools technologies. The candidate should be able to implement complex business logic using different data solutions.
  This is a hands-on role and you will be expected to provide technical oversight and guidance to the process and solution regarding how we consume/structure/provide/represent data. You will also work closely with the Programme Director to create and maintain a prioritized data roadmap.

   

• Key Responsibilities

  Providing leadership and drive architecture and the design of Data solution Design and implement high performance systems supporting large volume real time and batched data processes Propose and design data architecture solutions for scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, and elasticity for various application needs Ensure implementation Data Governance and security best practices for Data environments  

• Experience and Qualifications Required

  Essential Skills and Experience

   

  • Fluent English

  • AWS background with at least 2 years IAC experience

  • Proficient in Java and SQL programming languages

  • Solid experience of redis and Elasticsearch

  • Good sense of corporate level security

     

• Desirable Skills and Experience

   
  Quick learner Very good knowledge of JDK, spring, and springboot Experience working with Hongkong business / development teams
