The Enterprise Commerce – Data team focuses on designing and supporting integrations that enable thousands of customers to seamlessly link their commerce platforms with Algolia.

What You Will Do
  • Design, develop, and evolve Algolia's Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFCC) integration, with ownership of its architecture, scalability, and long-term technical direction, while contributing to other integrations as needed.
  • Own technical work from design through delivery and ongoing improvement.
  • Write technical RFCs and contribute to architecture and design decisions.
  • Improve the quality, reliability, and maintainability of the integration.
  • Investigate and resolve complex integration issues, partnering across Engineering, Product, Support, and customer-facing teams to provide technical solutions within the integration.
  • Provide technical input to support roadmap planning, including level-of-effort estimates and identifying opportunities to improve and evolve the integration.
What You Might Bring
  • Extensive Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFCC) experience, with deep knowledge of SFRA, cartridges, hooks, jobs, services, and B2C Commerce APIs, including designing and maintaining production SFCC integrations.
  • Strong JavaScript skills and experience with requireJs, TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Experience integrating commerce platforms with external APIs and services.
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals, including automated testing, maintaining existing test suites, debugging, code quality, and maintainable design.
  • Ability to own complex technical problems, identify root causes, and implement reliable engineering solutions.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings, remediation plans, and trade-offs clearly through technical documentation and RFCs.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn, share knowledge, and work across technologies when needed.

  • Excellent spoken and written English.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Algolia, search, or indexing systems.
  • Experience with React and headless commerce
  • Experience with Adobe Commerce and PHP.
  • Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud Service (ACCS) and Adobe App Builder.
  • Experience with other enterprise commerce platforms, including headless or composable commerce.
  • Experience building or maintaining publicly distributed cartridges, plugins, SDKs, integrations, or open-source software.

The annual base salary compensation range for this role reflects market pay data within this location. The exact compensation offered for this role may vary depending on specific location and job-related knowledge, technical skills, and experience; and is only one part of our Total Rewards philosophy to compensate and recognize employees for their work.

Base Salary Pay Range
$163,000$214,000 USD
