You can be at the heart of our brand's digital presence - strategically orientated Senior Social Media Manager, experienced in creating and managing high-impact content calendars across several platforms, from ideation to analysis and reporting. Strategy is a key part of this role - we're looking for someone experienced in developing social media strategies, and implementing/assessing them.

What are we looking for? Our Senior Social Media Manager has a knack for the following skills:

Communication

  • Engage directly with players by responding to comments on different social media platforms. 
  • Work closely with team members to align on Tone of Voice, FAQs and response guidelines to provide clear communication to the community. 
  • Provide cover as the main point of contact for Community Managers when CM Lead is on holiday or sick leave. 
  • Manage client interactions when the CM Lead is on holiday or sick leave. 
  • Foster and maintain a positive work environment – build engagement, resolve conflicts

Analytics

  • Create reports to analyze content performance and make recommendations based on findings. 
  • Assist the CM Lead in the production and delivery of performance reports to an agreed format and schedule.

Leadership

  • Lead the team when it comes to Paid Social Media 
  • Assist the CM Lead in managing all processes and the timely delivery of Keywords’ Community Management services across multiple projects. 
  • Assist with training and coaching of new and existing Community and Social Media Managers. 

Business

  • Develop calendars that include creative ideation and produce relevant and engaging content
  • Schedule content to be posted across social channels and write copy for content aligning to brand voice. 
  • Support campaign planning, audience and trend research and brand building. 
  • Align with the studio to understand what imagery is available and create additional assets, both static and video, when needed. 
Requirements

Requirements

● Minimum of 3 years’ experience in social media in gaming on professional basis, ideally

in a Senior role.

● Previous experience in managing, mentoring or supporting more junior team members.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (native speaker).

● Passionate about video games and social media.

● Strong understanding of social media/community management platforms/ channels

(Discord, Twitch, Reddit, Instagram, Facebook...)

● Expertise with social listening and social management best practices.

● Expertise with paid social media

● Experience managing or moderating a thriving gaming community.

● Higher education in marketing, business administration, communication, adult

education, or related fields.

● Timezone: 9am to 5pm ET (flexible, NA timezones preferred)

  • After reviewing your candidacy, we invite you to our online assessment (Community Management, English and [second language if necessary]) to better evaluate your written skills and your knack for content creation and community management. Our Community Management test will require typing, so we would encourage you to take it on a computer and make sure you have the keyboard in your language settings to facilitate its completion. Check your inbox to find the test invitation and keep your phone close!
  • Once you submit your test, the assessment will take approximately 48-72 hours to be evaluated.
  • If you successfully pass the assessment - we’ll invite you for the online Interview via MS Teams with one of our Talent Acquisition Specialists. It’s a perfect chance to exchange questions and get to know each other better. 
  • After the TA interview, if everything goes well, you will be required to submit a portfolio of examples of previous work.
  • There will be a second interview with one of our Project Managers.
  • For some projects, there will also be a final online meeting with our client to discuss further the objectives of the position.
  • At the end of our journey - hopefully you will receive an offer and become our new Keywordian!
