  • Mentor the Social Content Coordinator, collaborating to produce innovative, high-impact content and build a best-in-class community engagement strategy.

  • Develop the brand’s tone of voice and visual identity on social media, keeping it fresh, inclusive, and culturally resonant.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Marketing, PR, Creative and Legal to support broader brand and business initiatives.

  • Drive talent-centered campaigns, collaborating closely with PR and Influencer teams to ideate and activate content around key celebrity/influencer moments.

  • Stay ahead of platform trends, emerging tech, and cultural moments, providing strategic recommendations that help YITTY lead rather than follow.

  • Establish social media governance standards to ensure consistency, quality, and brand integrity across all content and platforms.

  • Manage organic boosting on Instagram, optimizing high-performing content to extend reach and engagement while aligning with broader social and campaign strategies.

  • Track and analyze performance, delivering weekly and monthly reporting on key KPIs and translating insights into actionable improvements.

  • Contribute to broader thought leadership, internally and externally, around social trends, creator innovation, and the evolving digital landscape.

  • Support real-time engagement and social listening, helping the brand respond quickly and thoughtfully to moments that matter to our community.

What You Bring:

  • 7+ years of social media experience, including leading channel strategy, content ideation, and cross-functional campaign planning.

  • Demonstrated success building and growing social-first brands, particularly in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or consumer-focused categories.

  • Deep understanding of content performance, platform best practices, and social analytics tools.

  • Proven experience working directly with creators, talent, and influencers in a highly collaborative, digital-first environment.

  • Strong creative instincts and an eye for design, copy, and tone that resonates with Gen Z and millennial audiences.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

  • A team-first mindset and positive, can-do attitude—flexible with changes and excited to evolve with the brand.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
