- Plan assay and method development activities and draft clear, robust laboratory methods
- Execute method development experiments and support validation and analytical testing activities as needed
- Troubleshoot assays and apply root cause analysis to optimize performance and resolve technical issues
- Transfer methods into validation processes and collaborate across functions to ensure methods are sustainable and scalable
- Lead low to moderately complex technical projects and guide assigned team members to achieve project deliverables
- Mentor and train junior staff while contributing technical expertise to scientific reports, presentations, and documentation
- Support laboratory equipment maintenance, operational standards, and evaluation of new instrumentation
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline is required
- 4 years of related experience in method or assay development or specific methodology area.
- 2 years' experience working with flow cytometry
- Familiarity and working knowledge of immunology
- Sound knowledge of assay/method development and scientific principles, theories, concepts, and state of the art instrumentation
- Experience with method validation, assay troubleshooting, and transfer of methods into laboratory operations
- Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
- Strong troubleshooting and advanced problem-solving skills, including application of root cause analysis
- Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to work successfully across functions, and comfortable training others
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail in a regulated laboratory environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and bring projects to completion within timeline expectations
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $64,200.00 - $133,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
