Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-focused Senior Sales Manager for Video to join our sales team at Jabra. As Senior Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the growth of Jabra’s video collaboration portfolio in North America. This role focuses on acquiring new white space customers, serving as an overlay specialist to global and regional sales teams, and enabling channel managers to expand video sales across partner ecosystems. The position requires a skilled sales leader who can balance direct customer acquisition by building client relationships, understanding their unique needs, and effectively positioning Jabra’s video solutions as the ideal choice with partner enablement and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire new white space customers across enterprise, education, healthcare, SMB, and commercial sectors.
  • Identify, target, and engage potential clients through strategic outreach, networking, and market research.
  • Formulate and implement a strategic sales approach to meet and surpass the sales objectives established by the organization.
  • Act as a video overlay specialist, supporting global and regional account teams in developing and closing opportunities.
  • Understand client requirements and pain points and tailor solutions to address their specific needs effectively.
  • Present engaging executive summaries and proposals to guide customer choices and promote quicker acceptance.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, contracts, and quotations, with our partners, ensuring they align with client expectations and Jabra's pricing strategies.
  • Provide overlay support to channel managers, enabling partners to position and sell Jabra video solutions effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting partner relationships through regular communication and skillful co-selling and service.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and channel teams to deliver enablement programs, demand generation campaigns, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and ensure sales governance compliance through CRM systems.
  • Share valuable insights and customer feedback to inform market strategies and product innovation.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence for the sales management team.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent Jabra Information and expand brand visibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 7–10+ years of sales experience in video collaboration, ProAV, UC, or IT solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability in acquiring new business and expanding accounts.
  • Experience working in an overlay capacity with global/regional sales and channel organizations.
  • Deep knowledge of UC platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom, along with the video/ProAV ecosystem.
  • Established network with distributors, resellers, and system integrators.
  • Proficient communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with ability to engage at C-level.
  • Thorough understanding of video collaboration technologies, trends, and the market landscape.
  • Highly skilled in communication, presentation, and negotiation.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to manage tasks and time effectively as well as part of a team.
  • Skilled in handling several responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining effective prioritization and time management.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Computer proficient on Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of selling to Higher Education, Enterprise, Government, and Reseller Channels is a plus
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time

Performance Metrics

  • Financial attainment of annual revenue and growth objectives for video portfolio.
  • Number of white space accounts acquired and converted.
  • Increase in channel-driven pipeline and revenue contribution.
  • Growth in market share within key channels
  • Growth of video attach rate across global and regional accounts.
