Role Overview  

As a Sr. Sales Executive  for CoStar Debt Solutions, you will play a key role in expanding our strategic relationships with both existing clients and high-potential prospects . You'll join a market leader in CRE technology, helping lenders make smarter decisions with powerful data and insights. At CoStar, we combine cutting-edge innovation with a relentless focus on client success. You’ll thrive in a high-performance culture that embraces ambition, fosters collaboration, and rewards those who go the extra mile.   

Key Responsibilities  

  • New Business Development: Identify and close new sales opportunities by demonstrating the value of our SaaS, data, and information services tailored specifically for commercial real estate lenders and financial institutions.  

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with CRE lending clients, ensuring exceptional service and identifying opportunities for expansion.  

  • Territory Engagement: Travel within your assigned region to meet with clients and prospects face-to-face, fostering trust, delivering product value, and strengthening partnerships.  

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders and local field sales teams to align on client goals, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing client satisfaction.  

  • Market Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of CoStar Debt Solutions industry-leading solutions and the commercial real estate lending space to position yourself as a trusted advisor.  

  • Sales Execution: Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and demos to closing, onboarding, training, and renewals—driving growth and exceeding revenue targets.  

Basic Qualifications   

  • 8+ years of solution selling experience, with success in owning the full-sales cycle from prospect to close.  

  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university.  

  • A track record of commitment and success with prior employers.  

  • Experienced with complex sales processes and sophisticated offerings 

  • Comfortable with diagnostic selling and committed to delivering solutions to our clients and prospects.  

  • Proactive, curious, and eager to work in a fast paced environment.  

  • Willing and able to travel to client and prospect locations on a regular basis. 

  • Candidates must possess a current and valid driver’s license. 

  • Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start. Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws. 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • History of success in selling SaaS Solutions to banks and financial institutions. 

  • Recurring SaaS sales experience . 

  • Our Ideal Candidate is well-versed in their technical skillset, risk concepts and selling into target companies’ HQs.  

  • Is a well-rounded, versatile sales professional with experience with real estate and fluency selling data and SaaS solutions  

  • Experience selling to large organizations with sophisticated buying processes (i.e. Selling Enterprise software solutions – bonus if selling into Banks and Lenders).  

  • Understands fundamentals or economic models and risk models.     

  • Comfortable managing date and speaking to the value of integrating proprietary data sets with commercially available data sets.    

  • Familiar with banking regulations and the regulatory framework in the US banking system including stress testing and compliance reporting.    

  • Proven sales experience within the financial services, commercial real estate, data and analytics, or information services industries. 

  • Experience selling proprietary data, database solutions, research platforms, or analytics-driven products and services. 

  • Demonstrated success engaging executive-level decision makers and driving revenue growth through consultative sales strategies. 

  • Familiarity with leveraging market intelligence, financial data, or real estate data platforms to solve complex business challenges for clients. 

  • Track record of exceeding sales targets in a highly competitive, metrics-driven environment.

Pay Transparency 

This position offers a base salary range of $95,000 - $125,000, based on relevant skills and experience, an uncapped/generous commission plan and generous benefits.
