Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Operate at a senior level, managing the Global Sales and Marketing component of the organization for assigned customers within the Latin America region. Responsible for winning business while owning and influencing commercial business operating guidelines and budgets. Execute commercial arrangements with autonomy. Serve in a customer facing role for customers in Latin America region to sell product(s), services, spare engines, and other commercial solutions. Develop commercial expertise across one or more countries within the Latin America region, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups. Influence policy and ensure delivery across large or diverse sales territories. Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services. Analyze and track industry trends to inform decision making process. Lead others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Evaluate quality of information received and flag conflicting data for analysis. Use multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision. Orchestrate functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity. Communicate complex messages and negotiate with internal stakeholders to adopt a different point of view. Influence peers to take action and negotiate with external customers.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Math, or related. Ten (10) years of technical or commercial experience in the aviation industry. Work experience to include: Five (5) years of experience working directly with airframer OEMs or lessor customers; Five (5) years of experience executing commercial aviation sales and services agreements; Coordinating global, cross matrixed teams for project management; Business process development using continuous improvement, Six Sigma (certification not required), or Lean methodologies; and Tableau, JMP, or Minitab for data analysis and visualization. Any and all experience may be gained concurrently. 100% telecommute position, reporting to General Electric Company offices in Evendale, OH. Candidate must live in greater Miami, Florida area.  Approximately 15% domestic and 25% international travel required to unanticipated customer sites to execute sale management (bid, commercial arrangements, solutions development, etc.) and to other GE locations for meetings and conferences. Travel expenses paid by employer.
