Job Description
As the Regional Business Director, you are responsible for meeting or exceeding regional sales targets through leading a team of Territory Business Mangers. You will oversee the tactical/operational daily activities of the sales team in the region while coaching and empowering for continuous improvement. You will develop and drive the implementation of team strategies to ensure the attainment of regionally focused objectives for our IG (Immune Globulin) business across the Neuromuscular space in the Midwest Region of the US. Your team will raise awareness and educate on appropriate diagnosis and treatment of rare neuromuscular conditions such as CIDP (chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy) and MMN (multifocal motor neuropathy) while clinically differentiating our IG product portfolio to healthcare professionals (primarily Neurologists and Neuromuscular Specialists). Reports to the Head of Neuromuscular Sales, US PDT.

U.S. Base Salary Range:
$175,200.00 - $240,900.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver results - plans and directs the sales and business activities for region through the translation of strategic plans into sales strategies to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives
- Cultivate talent - effectively recruits, develops, coaches, evaluates, and retains high performers
- Engage teams - motivates and inspires team toward a common vision while building and nurturing a winning, patient-centric culture aligned to our values of Takeda-ism
- Provides training and guidance on all aspects of customer engagement, product knowledge, selling skills, and territory management through in person field visits and regular interactions
- Creates clear expectations and holds team accountable to them while establishing alignment through a business planning and review process
- Evaluates sales behaviors, providing recognition or identifying development areas as appropriate
- Effectively manages personnel issues in a timely manner
- Consistently engages key customers/accounts to gather a deep understanding of market forces, competitive dynamics, industry trends, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborates closely with various organizational functions (Marketing, Patient Services, Alternate Site Team, Integrated Health Systems, Market Access, and National Accounts) to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and pull through of opportunities within each geography
- Manages external collaboration with key business partners to maximize opportunity and ensure access to Takeda's IG product portfolio
- Prepares quarterly and annual regional forecasts/business plans and participates in the determination of market potential
- Ensures compliance with all company policies
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree required; advance degree preferred
- Must live within the region geography
- 10+ years of commercial experience (i.e., sales, marketing, market access, sales operations)
- 5+ years of demonstrated successful relevant healthcare sales management experience including large/multi-state geography preferred
- Ideal candidate possesses experience in rare disease, specialty sales (injectables/infusions) including specialty pharmacy/distribution, buy-&-bill/access, patient HUB, and Neurology/Neuromuscular Specialist experience
- Experience/understand how to work multiple sites of care and product channels (physician office, infusion centers, hospitals, specialty pharmacy) along with associated stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success and experience in leading launch excellence of new therapeutic options
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation, collaboration, and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies and strong organization/time management skills
- Ability to leverage critical thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome business challenges and deliver innovative solutions
- Candidate must demonstrate personal accountability for results, business acumen and knowledge of sales processes, as well as strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

- Must have experience creating and implementing annual sales budgets and forecasts
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive travel as needed to support team and attend meetings and conferences, including ability to travel overnight and occasionally on weekends

- Must have authorization and ability to drive a company leased vehicle or rental
