We’re actively seeking a talented Sales Analyst to join our Sales Intelligence Team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE. This role is hybrid, 4 days in office, 1 day remote.

 

As a Sales Analyst you’ll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by working closely with sales partners and leaders to uncover opportunities, determine successes, and provide the appropriate tools and insights for sales management and strategic accounts. You will fill a role that sits on a team of nine people in the Consumer Markets Division. Your colleagues will include analytical and strategic professionals that provide data insights and reporting.

 

How you’ll help move us forward:

  • Building dashboards and reports that promote appropriate insights and actions.
  • Thinking strategically to bring out-of-the-box and innovative solutions to customer needs.
  • Working closely with Sr. Analysts, Sales and Sales Leadership to intake requirements for reporting and measuring success of delivered assets (dashboards, reports, visualizations, etc.).
  • Modeling compensation plan adjustments to align plans with the goals of the business.
  • Intelligently deploying AI within reporting and analytics to help move distribution forward.

 

The experience you bring:

  • BS Degree with 4-6 years relevant experience
  • Intermediate SQL skills
  • An understanding of financial services, preferably insurance.
  • Experience building reports and dashboards in modern visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, CRMA, etc.)
  • Experience manipulating data in Excel.
  • Metrics based story telling.

 

What makes you stand out:

  • Being a self-starter with a high desire to learn.
  • Master's degree in statistics, data science, analytics, or MBA.
  • Prior experience on a sales desk or in life insurance.
  • Experience and / or interest in learning distribution and analytical tools, such as Calendly, AWS, Snowflake, Tableau, Alteryx, and CRMA.
  • Experience with life insurance and annuity products.
  • Experience with Cortex agents.
  • The ability to works independently with minimal guidance.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$113,490.00 - $138,710.00
