The Senior Recruiter, is a strategic and hands-on role for Niantic (recently acquired by Scopely) that provides full cycle recruiting support across Pokémon GO and our Tokyo Gaming Studio titles like Monster Hunter Now and Pikmin Bloom. This role is critical in bringing on outstanding talent through fostering our Niantic Principles, influencing and driving the recruiting strategy for our key gaming titles, driving operational excellence and process improvement within recruiting processes, and being recognized across the business as a key strategic partner to hiring leaders.

Niantic is a hybrid work environment. You will be required to be in the office a minimum of two days per week, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a subject matter expert and strategic talent advisor to leadership at all levels, particularly executives.
  • Manage full cycle recruiting for multiple, complex searches, creating innovative sourcing strategies and engagement to bring the best talent to each role.
  • Partner with leadership to understand current and future hiring needs—especially as they relate to backfills, growth and scalability—and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Facilitate and lead meetings and key initiatives and projects with client groups and cross-functional teams that will continuously improve and scale our recruiting operations and results.
  • Track and report on critical recruiting metrics to advise decision-making and continuously improve pipeline health and process efficiency.
  • Drive diversity recruiting strategy and impact results in support of broader team/company aspirations.
  • Lead and manage the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) partner and external staffing vendors in Japan, driving recruitment strategies and ensuring alignment with hiring goals for the Tokyo market; serve as the primary POC for vendor performance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Flexibility required to accommodate timezone differences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.
  • Required in office 2 days a week, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree and/or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of experience with full-cycle recruiting for roles across Engineering, Product, and Design.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience supporting North America, EMEA and APAC regions.
  • Experience with Google Apps and various Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Greenhouse.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle multifaceted situations with little advance notice.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including synchronous interactions with others.

  • You have research savvy and creativity; An individual who can learn new tech and product domains quickly and understand how to craft effective search strategies within those domains.

The total compensation package for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $141,800 - $175,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Individual pay within this salary range is determined by work location and additional factors, including assessed job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
