The estimated salary range for this position is $107,200-142,900 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary. - To ensure effective process and business performance, provides leadership for development and deployment of assigned business functions at a regional level.
- Manages operational process improvement through metrics, problem identification, root cause analysis and developing and implementing corrective action.
- Develops basic to complex processes and process maps.
- To support effective local and regional operational and business performance, takes leadership and ownership of driving continuous improvement and ensures successful design and implementation of the metrics, quality plans, Statistical Process Controls, and/or internal audits with limited direction of Quality Management.
- To fulfill departmental resource optimization and cross-training requirements train and develops plans for staff improvement and mentors for staff qualification.

- To fulfill accreditation and regulatory requirements plans and conducts internal audits to ISO standard requirements, local, regional, international scheme requirements, as well as business related audits (ISO 27001) that have been assigned.
- Facilitates resolution of non-conformances by identifying owners, working with staff with root cause analysis and appropriate corrective actions.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process Design and Documentation: The CAR Process Owner is responsible for designing and documenting the process, including defining required activities, desired outcomes, and process expectations.
- Knowledge of the following is required: UL SharePoint, LMS and Power BI
- Process Accountability: Serve as the single point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring that the process meets established key performance indicators (KPIs) and achieves desired objectives. Provide support for internal and external assessments.
- Continuous Improvement: CAR Process Owner has responsibility for continuous improvement, constantly seeking opportunities to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Management: CAR Process Owner must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, CAR Champions including process participants as well as senior leadership. Car Process Owners provides updates on process performance, address concerns, and gather feedback to drive improvement
- Risk and Control Management: The CAR Process Owner must monitor process implementation to minimize unexpected issues, ensure compliance and timely responses to issues.
- Performance Reporting: Regularly reporting on process performance, utilizing Power BIs, as well as such as through request for Management Review input.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of expereince performing internal audits and working with accreditation bodies.
- Demonstrated detailed knowledge of ISO 9001 and the 17000 series.
- Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze data.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization and to present and facilitate discussions of audit findings.
- Six Sigma Green Belt training/certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to travel internationally within a given region (Americas, Europe/UK/Middle East, or Asia Pacific)
- Ability to lead improvement teams to develop complex processes and process maps.
