WHO YOU AREYou’re a driven and detail-oriented QA Engineer who is passionate about building quality into every layer of the engineering process. You thrive in both automated and performance testing, with a strong understanding of front-end and back-end testing workflows. A self-starter at heart, you take ownership of ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of software solutions, and you’re motivated by delivering excellence through collaboration and attention to detail.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and JavaScript.
- Lead or contribute to performance testing efforts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform backend testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to
- understand features and technical implementations.
- Participate in design and requirement reviews to ensure testability and quality standards.
- Document and track bugs; provide clear feedback and steps for reproducibility.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable releases.
- Contribute to the evolution of QA best practices and test strategy.
POSITION SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Must have
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and JavaScript-based automation frameworks (e.g., WebDriverIO, Cypress, etc.).
- Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, k6).
- Proficiency in SQL for validating backend data and performing test verifications.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and modern software development workflows.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-powered testing tools or frameworks (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Functionize).
- Exposure to machine learning model testing, API automation, or behavior-driven development (BDD).
- Experience in testing microservices or distributed systems.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
