The Senior Project Manager leads complex aerospace programs from contract award through delivery. This role owns full project execution, customer engagement, and cross-functional leadership to ensure successful delivery of high-reliability aerospace products. This position is onsite in Goleta, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of aerospace development and production programs
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Serve as the primary customer interface for program execution
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate technical, schedule, and cost risks
  • Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain
  • Manage contract requirements, scope changes, and program reviews
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, quality systems, and customer requirements
  • Mentor junior project managers and project coordinators
  • Risk management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (Master’s preferred)
  • 7+ years of project/program management experience in aerospace or defense
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary engineering programs
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace development lifecycles and regulated environments
  • Excellent customer-facing, leadership, and decision-making skills
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred
  • Earned value management
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Goleta, CA
  • Must be a US Citizen
