Role summary

You will own the end-to-end delivery and project control of multiple complex infrastructure engagements for external enterprise clients. This role requires a proactive, adaptable Project Manager who can drive execution across global environments while maintaining strong governance, risk management, financial control, and executive-level communication.

Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end delivery and project control of multiple concurrent, complex infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), schedules, dependencies, milestones, and critical paths.
  • Lead projects across infrastructure domains including data centers, networking, security, storage, virtualization, cloud, and Unified Communications.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, resources, financials, risks, dependencies, governance, and delivery quality.
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation, contingency, and escalation plans before they impact delivery.
  • Lead customer-facing project engagements, establishing strong relationships with clients, executives, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate multiple teams, environments, workstreams, and global sites to maintain alignment and execution.
  • Develop and maintain resource plans to ensure effective allocation across concurrent projects.
  • Manage project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and utilization.
  • Establish effective project governance, reporting, communication, and decision-making processes.
  • Monitor project performance and provide clear status, financial, risk, and delivery reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Drive project execution with a flexible, solution-oriented approach, adapting processes when needed to achieve successful customer outcomes.
Requirements – Must-haves
  • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager managing complex infrastructure engagements.
  • Proven experience in Project Control with end-to-end ownership across scope, schedule, resources, financials, risks, governance, and delivery.
  • Experience in a Professional Services or Managed Services environment, with direct ownership of external customer-facing projects.
  • Experience supporting global financial services customers or similarly complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong infrastructure project management experience across Data Centers, Networking, Security, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud, and/or Unified Communications.
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects, workstreams, environments, and/or geographically distributed sites.
  • Strong experience with risk identification, mitigation, escalation, and ongoing risk management.
  • Experience managing project financials, including budgets, forecasts, profitability, revenue, margins, and resource utilization.
  • Strong project governance experience, including executive reporting, stakeholder management, change control, and delivery oversight.
  • Experience developing detailed WBS, dependencies, resource plans, and critical path schedules.
  • Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively drive projects, identify issues, recommend solutions, and take initiative with limited supervision.
  • Strong organizational, critical-thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptable and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to adjust methodologies and processes based on project and customer needs.
  • Proficiency with enterprise project management and reporting tools.
Nice-to-haves (optional)
  • PMP and/or CAPM certification.
  • Experience with multisite deployments involving Wireless, Wi-Fi, POS, data centers, or similar infrastructure.
  • Experience with Empower, Clarity, or similar project financial management platforms.
  • Experience managing Federal-sector technology projects.
  • Experience leading large-scale infrastructure transformation or modernization programs.
