The Finance team’s goal is to be a trusted and collaborative partner to all the businesses and functional teams that we work with, bringing business acumen, financial expertise and insights to aid decision-making and deliver value to our stakeholders. We strive to generate value through providing specialist advice and making recommendations to optimize decision making, delivering transparent processes and implementing governance and controls to mitigate risk.

Step into a strategic leadership role at the forefront of Finance transformation. Reporting to the Director, Finance PMO, you will serve as a key architect of the next-generation Finance Project Management Office (PMO)—driving innovation, operational excellence, and enterprise-wide impact.

This is more than a project management role; it’s an opportunity to shape the future of Finance delivery. You will lead high-profile, complex initiatives that align with our global strategic vision, while championing best-in-class PMO practices that elevate performance and accelerate business outcomes. As a trusted advisor and influencer, you will engage senior executives and cross-functional leaders to deliver transformative programs that position Finance as a catalyst for growth.

The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with exceptional communication skills, proven experience in steering large-scale initiatives, and a passion for building frameworks that enable agility, scalability, and sustained success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive PMO Evolution: Define and implement next-generation PMO strategies, governance, and tools to establish Finance as a benchmark for delivery excellence.

  • Lead Enterprise Programs: Own end-to-end delivery of strategic programs—from ideation to execution—ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and measurable business impact.

  • Influence at Scale without authority: Act as a change leader, fostering collaboration across global teams and influencing senior stakeholders to achieve transformational outcomes.

  • Risk & Resilience: Anticipate challenges, mitigate risks, and implement proactive solutions to safeguard program success.

  • Executive Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing clear insights, strategic recommendations, and timely escalations.

  • Build High-Performing Teams: Inspire and mentor cross-functional teams, cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Champion Agility: Embed modern delivery practices, including Agile methodologies, to accelerate execution and enhance adaptability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Information Systems, Business, Finance preferred); MIS or MBA strongly preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in program and project leadership, with a proven track record of delivering complex, global initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive change across diverse functions and geographies.

  • Expertise in large-scale technology and business transformation programs involving Finance and enterprise functions.

  • Strong knowledge of business process analysis methodologies and tools.

  • Deep understanding of Agile delivery practices.

  • PMP certification is preferred.

  • Familiarity with core Finance processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Forecast-to-Delivery, and Hire-to-Retire is a plus.

Why This Role Matters

  • Shape the Future: Be a key leader in defining the next-generation Finance PMO.

  • Enterprise Impact: Drive initiatives that influence global strategy and operational excellence.

  • Leadership Visibility: Engage directly with senior executives and decision-makers.

  • Career Growth: Position yourself as a transformational leader in a dynamic, global organization.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
