What You'll Do:
- Lead production design efforts on higher-profile Tier 2 + Tier 3 projects and campaigns, partnering closely with project management to ensure timely, accurate delivery of final assets.
- Finalize marketing creative assets, build out specified sizes, and provide proofs for review.
- Catch discrepancies within creative files and ensure errors do not go into production.
- Apply critical thinking skills to tackle problems and remove roadblocks.
- Apply approved templates to build net-new creative assets as needed.
- Help maintain a consistent brand identity/experience across all channels and consumer touchpoints.
- Develop a deep understanding of Chewy's website and how to prepare the highest quality assets at the smallest file size, ensuring all type meets accessibility standards and responsive site requirements.
- Maintain standard methodologies for file and server management, including the consistent application of naming conventions, file/folder organization, versioning control, and production specifications.
- Earn trust through proactive and multifaceted communication with peers and leaders throughout Chewy.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communications or a related field.
- 5+ years of design experience within an external or in-house agency or creative department.
- Outstanding typography, composition, and layout skills to ensure the integrity of the initial design is preserved through build-out of assets.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure work is accurate and meets all requirements.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment, balancing tight deadlines while running multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate problems and solutions while being receptive to feedback and direction.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A positive attitude when working with colleagues, peers, and internal clients.
- Maintain standard methodologies for file and server management, including the consistent application of naming conventions, file/folder organization, versioning control, and production specifications.
- Expert skills in the full Adobe Creative Suite required on a Mac OSX platform.
- Photo retouching and Figma experience a must.
