I'm Jen Casson, Senior Director, Product Marketing at Teamworks. I lead our growing team of Product Marketers who support 24+ products across all markets and territories.

I'm looking for someone to own the GTM motion end to end for our Personnel and Coaching product categories, the technology elite teams rely on to evaluate talent, make roster decisions, and prepare for game day. From customer and competitive insights, to positioning and messaging, through to launch and enablement, this person will partner closely with our GTM teams and Executive leadership to drive growth and adoption.

The Role
  • Own market, competitive, and customer insights for our Coaching and Player Personnel product categories across professional, collegiate, and international sports organizations

  • Lead category and competitive positioning, differentiation strategy, and messaging that translates sophisticated analytics into clear customer outcomes

  • Own go-to-market planning and execution for high-priority product launches and category-level initiatives, from customer/market/competitor insights through multi-channel campaign activation

  • Build and maintain the enablement assets, playbooks, battlecards, and training our Sales and Customer Success teams rely on to sell and support these products

  • Use our customer engagement platform (Customer.io) to help communicate with customers and drive adoption and retention.

  • Define and track KPIs for adoption, launch performance, and campaign effectiveness, turning results into recommendations for Product and GTM stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain AI-driven workflows that support individual and team processes.

What I'm Looking ForWhat You Must Bring
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, including senior ownership of go-to-market strategy

  • Proven B2B SaaS experience supporting analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven platforms

  • Experience supporting global markets and multiple customer personas, our buyers range from analytics-savvy front office staff to head coaches

  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategy and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment, this role requires both

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across Product, Sales, and Customer and Product Success

  • Responsible use of AI tools: you take security and privacy seriously, validate AI-generated outputs before acting on them, and treat AI as an input to your thinking, not a substitute for your judgment. We're still building these workflows, and you'll help shape them

Even Better If
  • You have experience in the sports, athletics, or performance technology industry

  • You're familiar with tools like Gong, Customer.io, Gainsight, Omni, ProdPad, or Notion

  • You have hands-on experience with Figma or Photoshop

Why This Role

This is a chance to own go-to-market for the products the most elite football, hockey, baseball, and soccer organizations in the world use to decide who to draft, trade, or develop. You'll work at the center of Product, Sales, Customer Success, Product Success, and Executive leadership on a category we're actively scaling, with real room to shape the strategy, not just execute someone else's plan.

This role is not eligible for sponsorship at this time.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
