Job Description:

   

We are looking for an experienced product marketer to drive product marketing strategy, messaging, positioning, and content generation across the buyer’s journey for HPE Alletra Storage MP portfolio.  In this role, you will see the world from our customers' eyes and build compelling, strategic narratives to drive awareness and preference for HPE Storage.

To be a successful candidate, you will have proven experience leading product marketing at a storage vendor. You should have a track record of building compelling narratives and creative content that connects with customers across the buyer’s journey. You should be seasoned in positioning products in the market to drive instant clarity for buyers and sellers on the right product for the right use case. You should have a passion for technology, but proven ability to captivate new customers above the technical details. You'll work closely with senior leadership, product management, worldwide sales, and GTM (Go-to-Market) teams to get the right message out to the market and drive product launches. This is a critical role in driving the transformation and growth of HPE Storage.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive product marketing for the HPE Alletra Storage MP portfolio with a focus on creating thought leadership and accelerating pipeline through impactful messaging, positioning, and storytelling.
  • Create differentiated messaging and impactful content to drive demand.
  • Influence industry analysts, press, and influencers.
  • Develop and deliver marketing content strategy for HPE Alletra Storage MP portfolio for our website, buyer’s journey, press releases, briefings, sales plays.
  • Drive thought leadership that creates attention to HPE Storage’s POV for structured data, unstructured data and AI.
  • Enable our global sales force and channel partners to effectively communicate the value of HPE Data Storage portfolio

Education and Experience Required:

  • BA or BS in Marketing or Engineering field; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 6-8+ years product marketing experience in the storage industry
  • Subject matter expertise in enterprise storage, AI, hybrid cloud, cloud services, data management, storage as a service, strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing product launches, positioning products, and scaling businesses in competitive markets.

Location preference is for the candidate to be located in Texas, Massachussetts or California but for the qualifed candidate this role is open to allowing one to work remotely anywhere within the US.

  • Superb written/oral communications, including presentation skills.
  • Hands on ability to create a range of marketing assets, including product demo videos and succinct slide pitch decks.

  • Creativity to break through the noise and earn attention.
  • Excellent negotiating abilities.
  • Accomplished project management skills with the ability to optimally structure and prioritize work.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines.

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $115,500.00 - $266,000.00
