Role Overview:

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager I – Business Solutions, your role is to guide business owners through our suite of business management tools, such as Payroll, Accounting, and Tax products, in a clear and engaging way, helping them realize the potential of these solutions in managing and growing their business. You have a knack for understanding their needs and pointing them to the right tools and solutions. 

You bring analytics and user insights together to develop and optimize the acquisition and customer marketing strategy to drive revenue. You are passionate about finding a solution for our service professionals (our Pros) and build delightful, on-brand experiences. You are comfortable working cross-functionally (e.g., marketing, product, business operations, customer success, strategy & operations, and sales) to perform customer research, develop strategy, collect requirements, and manage asset production. You feel at home when using data to make decisions, whether through analytics, user research, customer feedback, or sales team feedback.

What you do each day:  

  • Harness customer insights and competitive analysis to collaborate with product and marketing teams and develop effective product marketing strategies for business solutions products (Payroll, Accounting, Tax).
  • Serve as an example and mentor to junior team members
  • Shape market perception and enhance storytelling through the development of compelling product messaging and content
  • Plan and coordinate go-to-market strategies, ensuring a unified approach to launching new Payroll, Accounting, and Tax products.
  • Orchestrate product launch activities with cross-functional teams to maximize product uptake and visibility
  • Monitor and track product performance throughout and after the launch and refine our approach based on real-world feedback
  • Empower Sales and Customer Success teams with essential tools and narratives, enabling them to communicate the product’s story compellingly and effectively
  • Manage post-launch optimization efforts, addressing market shifts and leveraging new opportunities to sustain product momentum

Qualifications: 

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Operations, Strategy Consulting, or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Familiarity with Payroll, Accounting, and Tax products preferred.
  • Experience planning and executing integrated go-to-market campaigns across multiple marketing channels
  • Experience and understanding go-to-market strategies, approaches and levers
  • Proven track record of collaborating cross-functionally to achieve shared KPIs
  • What will help you succeed in this role:
    • Experience with small business owners; home service business trades preferred
    • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to translate complex financial or operational material into comprehensible insights.

    • Creative problem-solver, motivated to test and learn
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Prompt attention to detail

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $121,600-$152,000 + Equity. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
